Nikel Studios Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a class at Nikel Studios, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Enrollment and Payment

• Enrollment: Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

• Payment: Payment is due in full upon booking. 

• Refunds: No refunds will be issued for missed classes, except in cases of studio closure or instructor illness where no alternative class is provided.

3. Class Attendance and Behavior

• Attendance: Regular attendance is highly encouraged for optimal learning.

• Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time for class.

• Behavior: Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times. Disruptive behavior, including bullying, may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from class.

• Dress Code: Appropriate dance attire is required for all classes.

4. Studio Policies

• Photography/Video: Nikel Studios reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during classes, performances, workshops or any other affiliated events for the purposes of instruction, advertising and promoting Nikel Studios. Students, or parents of students who are minors, who do not wish to comply with this policy must notify Nicole Hill or any of the teachers in charge, prior to participation in class.​

• Physical Contact & Verbal Methods: I give permission to be taught using acceptable physical & verbal methods.​​

• Personal Belongings: Nikel Studios is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

• Food and Drink: Only water is permitted in the studio.

• Medical Conditions: Students with any medical conditions or injuries must inform the studio in advance.

• No Bullying Policy: Nikel Studios has a strict no-bullying policy. Bullying in any form, including verbal, physical, emotional, or cyberbullying, will not be tolerated.

5. Cancellation and Withdrawal

• Cancellation: If a class is canceled by Nikelstudios, a full refund or a make-up class will be offered.

• Withdrawal: If a student wishes to withdraw from a class, a written notice of  3 days or more is required.

• No refunds will be issued for withdrawals without proper notice.

6. Liability

Nikel Studios assumes no liability for any injuries sustained by students during class.

7. Modifications

Nikelstudios reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with1 the laws of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
